You're right with the title : they seem so HUGE ! Wow ! Must certainly be old, no ?

Wow! Those trees really are huge. It's a beautiful winter scene! I can't help but think... don't stand under one of those trees then the wind blows! :-)

17 Dec 2008 12:22pm

@Betty: Or when it starts to melt or when the snow gets so heavy it just cascades down. Actually one got me the other day when I was headed for the car. Tee hee!! Then there is the thud, thud, thud on the roof when it starts to melt. Sounds like old St. Nick and his reindeer are up there.

Judy from Brooksville-Florida,, United States

WOW..........you really ARE ... what a fantastic photo, Marion!
I hope those big, old trees are very sturdy and well-rooted into the ground. :D

17 Dec 2008 12:22pm

@Judy: Oh I hope so too. It would be rather disastrous if one came down on one of our little homes.

A truly beautiful scene . . whenever I see this weight of snowfall, I am reminded of how a fraction of an inch in England can shut the place down for days !
