The blush of a rose

Posted by
Marion (Nanaimo, BC, Canada) on 21 February 2008 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

My husband brought me a long stemmed rose and when I opened it the stem had broken and there was only an inch of stem left. I popped it into a small glass of water and took a few close up pictures. This is one of them.

I think you're too modest. That's one hot looking rose.

It is so beautiful! That warm glow to the orange colour is so great... and the details excellent, Marion! Did you get out last night for the eclipse? I did... haven't had a chance to really see what I got. Fingers crossed for something good... ;-)
