Our one and only Official Wedding picture

I have never particularly liked this picture, but as the years pass it seems to look better. Ray was in the RCMP. I made my own dress and I think it would be so cool if I could fit into it now.....not!!

Oh, Marion (I know, same entry as Betty), this is such a beautiful photo of the demur miss you were back then.
Good for you, for making your own dress; it's lovely, and I can just imagine this in color!

@Judy: Someday I will have to tell you about our wedding. We got married in Grande Prairie, Alberta where Ray was stationed. The young policeman on Ray's right was a very handsome fellow named Ed and the gal who was my bridesmaid was his girlfriend. Her name was Dodee. I think that is how you spelled it. After the ceremony and short reception Ray and I got into our car and drove to Vancouver to spend our "honeymoon" with his parents and then a few days later unto Nanaimo to spend some time with my family. Both families had cakes and receptions for us. But there was no family with us when we actually got married.
