Self Portrait - Through the Years

dj.tigersprount http://visionlogic.aminus3.com/ has challenged us to post a self portrait and tell a little about ourselves. Today is the day. So I did a collage of me through the years. The youngest top left to the oldest traveling clockwise. You will see some crazy hair dos and a few different colors. I am naturally an auburn haired lass. Must be the Irish coming out in me.
My grandfathers hailed from Ireland and France and both grandmothers from England. You will get a kick out of this one, from the time I was a little girl I was always told that on my Dad's Mother's side I was fifth cousin to Queen Elizabeth. The story goes that my ancestor married a commoner and was kicked out of the Royal family. Fact or fiction....I'm not sure.
I was born in Vancouver, BC and have lived in British Columbia, Alberta and one year in Manitoba when I was a little girl. My 47th wedding anniversary is coming up in five days, so to say that I am happily married would be an understatement. I think my husband is a real peach and I love him to bits. I have two beautiful (in my opinion) daughters, three grand children and one great grandson. I am still working at the Credit Union and my darling husband drives cab. We are both hoping that we will be retiring very soon.
