In that light it looks like an uninhabited wilderness, smashing shot. 19 Oct 2008 2:47pm @Jeff: From my sister's front balcony. We live on Vancouver Island and the mountains across the way are those of the mainland, probably just North of Vancouver, BC. Our scenery does tend to be on the "wild" side. Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomFabulous view, I think it would be good to visit those islands...? Great shot Marion (you have mail) 19 Oct 2008 8:54pm dj.tigersprout from San Bruno, CA, United Statesfaabulous view indeed!! just glorious colors -- this could be a painting for sure!! i love your idea regarding adding to the self portraits info regarding where we hail from!! i will include that tidbit in tonight's post (for tomorrow!!) are you keen to participate on the 29th? i hope so!! it would be great to 'meet' you!! :) 19 Oct 2008 8:58pm @dj.tigersprout: Thanks DJ.
