@Jeff: From my sister's front balcony. We live on Vancouver Island and the mountains across the way are those of the mainland, probably just North of Vancouver, BC. Our scenery does tend to be on the "wild" side.

faabulous view indeed!! just glorious colors -- this could be a painting for sure!! i love your idea regarding adding to the self portraits info regarding where we hail from!! i will include that tidbit in tonight's post (for tomorrow!!) are you keen to participate on the 29th? i hope so!! it would be great to 'meet' you!! :)

@dj.tigersprout: Thanks DJ. We are moving on the 25th and won't have cable until the 29th, but I will try and prepost. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone's post. I hope you do yours without the mask ;D I agree that a little history with everyone's picture would be fun.

Beautiful colors. You could even cut a bit the bottom and have a more panoramic format.
