Red Sky At Night, Sailor's Delight

It's August and we are having some incredible weather here on Vancouver Island. A few thunder and lightening shows and the skies in the evening have been just incredible. It really looked like the hill was on fire, but this is just the setting sun taken through the trees.

What a magnificent sight.... it looks like the Northern lights, splendid Marion. Have you not noticed this display before.....? There seems to be a lot of change in the weather patterns all over the globe.

We would normally say "red sky at night, shepherd's delight". That's an impressive sunset and you've captured it well.
