Windswept seascape

One more picture of the beautiful Haystack Rock on the shore of Cannon Beach, Oregon.

Sorry that I have been so off and on again with my visits of late. We are still having snow storms and although we still haven't lost our power, we have lost our internet connection a few times which makes visiting a little difficult.

Wonderful shot Marion. I like the mist and haze and the person in the foreground...they give the rock just the right amount of perspective.

Was this taken before yesterdays, before the lady in red walked into your shot? It seems the birds are to the right before they flew into the mist. Maybe I'm wrong, but whatever, they're both wonderful. Yesterday's shows more of the mist that seems so ever-present on that coastline.

@Judy: Good eye Judy. I had to go back to my pictures to verify, but you are right this was taken before the lady in red walked by. It was a very cloudy, misty day so all of the pictures have had processing done. Perhaps that is why we did not linger there.

fantastic shot! the mist from the water looks really good and ads a nice mood to the scene and haveing a person in the shot allows to see the true size of the Rock...
