Lady in Red

The fortunate people that live there walk briskly down the beach. Yup, want to spend a few days there for sure. Beautiful homes stretch along the shore, poor darlings that have to live there. <sigh>

Back from our four day adventure on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. Most days were bright and beautiful. I hope you enjoy my pictures.

@Jrask: It is Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach on the coast of Oregon. Same haystack as in yesterday's picture.

@Peter Mannfolk: Hi Peter, thanks for your comment. It was a cold overcast day that we were in Cannon Beach so I used my Corel Paint Shop Pro's Smart Photo fix and asked for more color. The red shirt seemed to stand out in this pic regardless of the fixes. Then I also used my Nik Color Efex Pro to illuminate the center of the picture. Both programs are available on line (for a price.)

I'd love to stay there for a week or two. Longer than that, I'm afraid my body would be craving sunlight, though. *smile*

I think this one is even more powerful than the one posted yesterday ! I like, like this lady, to walk in such places. Nature is so huge and beautiful. Chris De Burgh would probably appreciate your allusion to his famous song title ! :-)

@Ron: Thanks Ron. The Oregon Coast is certainly one of God's masterpieces. When you see all those huge monoliths it sure makes you wonder how they got there.

This is a much better composition than the previous one...the location being as attractive, though! Few people...and those birds flying! Real, real good composition!
