Sunset from Pier 39

We ate at the Rogue Ale Public house pub at Pier 39 and watched the ships, sunsets, and sea lions at the 132 year old Hanthorn Cannery, located at the foot of 39th Street in Astoria, Oregon, on the mighty Columbia River. I am really digging into my old pictures now because I haven't had a chance to get out with my camera. Once the move is over......

I am on holidays from August 17th until August 26th ....whee!! Although I will be home for the first few days, on the 21st we are heading to the States mainly to go to Tacoma Washington to attend the Gaither Gospel Homecoming Tour on Friday the 22nd. We are in for a real treat. We will also be tourists for a while and hopefully will come back with lots of good pictures. Anyhow, all of that to say I probably won't be visiting your wonderful sites for at least the 21st - 26th, but I promise I will catch up. I will prepost.
