Grand Canyon

Back from our four day adventure on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. Most days were bright and beautiful. I hope you enjoy my pictures.

@Michael Skorulski: Thank you Michael. We only had about two hours at the North end of the Grand Canyon. We had gone to Las Vegas for a presentation and had a day where we rented a Hummer and drove to the Canyon and got a few pictures. I would have loved to have gone and explored more of it though.

@Lorraine: Thanks Lorraine, it was a sight for sore eyes but I couldn't get too close to the edge 'cause I don't like heights.

Terrific depth in this image, Marion ... you've seen more of the U.S. than I have ... never been to the Grand Canyon, but hope to one day. Hoping your move and hectic schedule aren't over-taxing you ... all the best

Wonderful light and colour cast. Again, I think the horizon should stick higher in the frame (too much sky to me), flirting with the superior third of the image, making it a perfect shot.

@Judy: Isn't that funny. I wasn't pleased with my shots at all and so I definitely played with this - you know filters and stuff and last night when I got home so late again in the middle of a thunder and lightening show at 11:30 I just grabbed one of my Grand Canyon shots and hoped that people would like it. Thanks Judy.
