so pink, for you Anthony
I am on holidays from August 17th until August 26th ....whee!! Although I will be home for the first few days, on the 21st we are heading to the States mainly to go to Tacoma Washington to attend the Gaither Gospel Homecoming Tour on Friday the 22nd. We are in for a real treat. We will also be tourists for a while and hopefully will come back with lots of good pictures. Anyhow, all of that to say I probably won't be visiting your wonderful sites for at least the 21st - 26th, but I promise I will catch up. I will prepost.
WOW.............I did it! We're having a HEAVY rain at the moment and Belle just HAD to go, otherwise I couldn't have been 1st! This is another beauty, Marion - I love it!

Beautiful Marion..... Yesterday Blue and today Pink, is there a way to change its color..? I heard something about putting metal in the soil???

@Observing: Thank you so much. In general, hydrangeas are pink in alkaline soil, and blue in acid soil. But there are many hybrids and colors inbetween. Tomorrow's is white with a greenish tint and I have no idea what the soil conditions should be for that one. They are a fascinating plant and I do love them.
in french his name is Hortensia, nice name for a flower..........nice photo marion

Your hydrangea series is excellent; today's is so very elegant. Thank you for asking about Bella; since your earlier post I've added a "Bella Update" to my site. Thank you also, for your prayers.

@Viewfinder: I read the update. Poor Bella, but I'm glad she had you to comfort her during the storm. I hope you all sleep better tonight.
