Taking a beating - Poppy v

Monday was cold, windy and rainy. I took this picture through a screened window because there was no way I was taking my camera out into the driving rain. I'm not sure that the flowers will last until morning.

Back from our four day adventure on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. Most days were bright and beautiful. I hope you enjoy my pictures.

It's gorgeous, the slight obscurity of a rainy day through the window gives it an abstract polish, they will survive ;)

Poor little poppies, they were taking a battering from the rain, did they survive?
I love the way the screen gives a soft feel to the image and the poppies have such pretty pastel colours too.

Sometime pictures in rain come out good. You should dare to take it out and shoot some wet stuff.

@Shuva Brata Deb: I very often do take my camera out in the rain, but it was a sideways driving rain and I have a bad cold, so decided not to. Thanks for your comment Shuva.

The screen does lend itself to a softer look. This is a nice shot of a rainy day flower.

Poor flowers! Hope they survived! For the photo....most certainly the rain drops always bring more charm! And the motion of the suffering flowers is well captured,too!
