Chocolate anyone?Posted by Marion (Nanaimo, BC, Canada) on 24 May 2008 in Food & Cuisine and Portfolio. I took this picture last November when we were in Las Vegas at the Venetian Hotel. The case was amber therefore the golden light. I didn't try one, they looked sooooo good, but the price was oh so high.

@mosleh: Thanks, I always appreciate your visits. @Alun Lambert: Want me to send you some. ;D @Saeed: Thanks Saeed, I'm sure they were delicious, but I didn't succombe to temptation. Judy from Brooksville-Florida,, United StatesDelicious capture ........ it reminds me of the sweet shops in Austria and the truffle shop in NYC. $$$$$ 24 May 2008 8:14am @Judy: I know, they were outrageously expensive. Just eye candy this time. @saeed: For sure it was a nice place to visit. Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaOh, oh oh I've died and gone to chocolate Heaven...would I look funny eating this photo, 'cause I'm seriously chocolate-deprived....awww I'm salivating, not a pretty sight ;) 24 May 2008 9:11am @Lorraine: You would look funny eating this picture because you would have to eat your monitor as well. I don't think that would be too tasty. Good grief, what imaginations the two of us have ;D Observing from Chester, United KingdomNever mind the price... just think of those calories... You'll be sorry,,,, :( 24 May 2008 10:42am @Observing: Spend a few days here and eat everything that looks good. I'm sure you would walk away at least 10 lbs. heavier. Anthony Lambert from GermanyDeath by chocolate!! Although the selection on the far right would not be the one I would buy."Sugar free" !!?? Where´s the fun in that. 24 May 2008 10:49am @Anthony Lambert: I agree, I would rather have less than something with no sugar in it. Michael Skorulski from Cigel, Hong KongLead me to them. As a chocoholic I can't resist. A superbly delicious image! 24 May 2008 11:53am @Michael Skorulski: I guess I did pretty good just taking a picture and not taking a bite!! Ronnie 2¢ from London, United KingdomWell, the price is far higher than the price ticket might show . . but, durn, they taste much better than lettuce leaves! 24 May 2008 1:58pm @Ronnie 2¢: You are right. Aren't you glad you are not a rabbit?? Betty from New Jersey, United StatesI'm a die hard chocolaholic! Looks so good... is it Ethel M's? I love their dark chocolate lemon creams! Nice shot. 24 May 2008 2:45pm @Betty: I don't know whose they were. For sure they weren't See's Chocolates or I would have been finished. Is there anyone who doesn't like chocolate?? Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanOh,yesssssss!I DO!!!! (Send some over, please!!!!) Like most everybody who is conscious of the size of waist and hips, I rarely indulge. In exchange.....I eat with my eyes! ( I discovered one can put on weight this way, too!)Good chocolate is always expensive! If you ever visit Japan, take all precautions to prevent a heart attack! 24 May 2008 2:47pm @Japanalia: I wish I could send some over, or better yet bring some over to you and then I could trade delicious chocolates for a few lessons from the master flower picture taker. Now that is not good English, but you know what I mean. @--**HoMo** --: Thanks ... eye candy ;D Ron from Saint Louis, United StatesA tempting display, Marion ... I see you have a PowerShot when you're traveling light ... 24 May 2008 8:31pm @Ron: I do and it works pretty good, but as you know nothing quite compares to an SLR. standley from brou-sur-chantereine, FranceWonderful presentation Marion! I am so tempted, never mind the price... 24 May 2008 9:19pm @standley: Thanks Richard, I guess we could call this eye candy..:D amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaLife's short Marion.... never never never pass up on the chocolate!!! LOL!! Thanks for the e-mail. Really hope to catch up with you when we're out there. 25 May 2008 1:07am Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaObviously dear Marion, we need a good dosage of chocolate...personally I adore Lindor or any truffles...I sigh and salivate ;) 25 May 2008 9:44am Vincent from Montréal, CanadaNice picture, but I'm not sore about the colour rendition. I don't mind playing around with colours, don't get me wrong... but in that particular case, I wish it'd be a little more close to reality. 12 Jun 2008 8:56pm @Vincent: The case that they were in was yellow, so I didn't have an option.
