Not processed in any way, just added borders. I am still not too impressed with the way my camera handles red, but other than that its a good camera. Maybe its the photographer??
I am on holidays from August 17th until August 26th ....whee!! Although I will be home for the first few days, on the 21st we are heading to the States mainly to go to Tacoma Washington to attend the Gaither Gospel Homecoming Tour on Friday the 22nd. We are in for a real treat. We will also be tourists for a while and hopefully will come back with lots of good pictures. Anyhow, all of that to say I probably won't be visiting your wonderful sites for at least the 21st - 26th, but I promise I will catch up. I will prepost.

I can't see a problem Marion, it looks wonderful to me, very pretty flowers. I used to have trouble with blue flowers, I've got that sorted now purple flowers are not coming out quite as I would like.

the photographer did a good job although the red looks a little weird.
I really like it Marion. I think the red looks great. I love all the green leaves sticking out betweent he blooms - reminds me of Christmas!

I see what you mean about the red, Marion, but the beautifully sharp green redeems the photo! What happens if you do process it a little, as in sharpening; does that help the edges of the red petals?

Gorgeous image, Marion, and your presentation is excellent.

@Anthony Lambert: yup, it's sorted out. The link is back and it's good to have you back!!
Hey with regards to handling red, did you have an option of setting the while balance in your camera? Adjusting that may help.

@Shuva Brata Deb: Thanks for the suggestion Shuva. I will try that next time. In the meantime I have edited the picture and will show it again in a couple of days.
Very beautiful!

Few of us are impressed with our cameras' way of handling strong reds and I often find that PP can make things worse. But this catches the blaze rather well, I think.

Red is a very difficult colour to capture and you did well Marion. I like the composition!
