I have two big pots with my red azaleas (a small sister to the rhododendrun). Red is so difficult to photograph, so here is my attempt at capturing these beautiful blooms.
I appreciate and treasure each and every one of you that visits my site every day and leaves a comment. I learn so much just from viewing your pictures in return.

Gorgeous Marion ... I can definitely see the velvet texture coming through especially on that one petal top center and facing left ... beautiful composition with the touches of green! I'm sure they're gorgeous right now ... enjoy!

Not bad, Marion, red is extremely difficult for digital... drives me crazy.

Marion, this is lovely - and a beautiful red. I've had problems photographing reds w/previous cameras, but am pleased that my Sony does it well.
