I have a whole hedge of these dividing my yard from the street. They are very bright red at this time of year. I really need to get out and get some photography done....you know, serious stuff.

Marion, the colours are a bit washed out....I think you've got to try again as the plant is most decorative!

@Judy: Your climate is probably too warm for this little beauty. However it grows everywhere here. Bushes, shrubs, hedges, you name it. Makes for a wonderful color this time of year and then it gradually turns white and then green. Very interesting plant.
