Framed camellia

They are such beautiful flowers but quickly go brown around the edges. I love the shine on the dark green foliage.

I´m starting to think that pink is your favorite colour Marion.I agree the leaves are wonderful.

@Anthony: Thanks Anthony. I can see why you would think pink is my favorite color, but really I prefer purple and blue flowers. But there are some beautiful pink flowers around and when one pokes it's pretty little face at you, then you just take the picture. ;D

They are, indeed, gorgeous ... the shiny green foliage of a camellia is among my favorites. Are these outdoors up there in God's country?

@Ron: Hi Ron, yup this was taken at Beacon Hill Park. They had huge bushes. I should have stood back and gotten a full shot, but I love my close up shots.
