@Lorraine: I live in paradise. Victoria is just an hour and a half drive from Nanaimo and we like to call this area "God's Country". There are some very beautiful spots on the island.

@Ron: Victoria is really a beautiful city. Hanging baskets line the downtown streets, there are numerous parks and flower gardens throughout and the residents take great pride in their beautiful gardens. I think you would love it.
