An Easter Collage

Posted by Marion (Nanaimo, BC, Canada) on 23 March 2008 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

This is a collage of very, very old pictures to honor both Easter and my dear departed father. Dad was a wonderful violinist and we all loved to hear him play. The top left hand picture is Dad with his six granddaughters. He loved his girls. The center picture and the bottom left hand one shows him playing his violin to my two daughters. I believe the year was 1974. After we lost him in November of 1977 in a tragic car accident I gathered together his violin and his beloved bible and set it up to take a couple of pictures along with some Easter lilies and a candle. Pretty good composition for someone that really wasn't into taking pictures at the time. These pictures did not scan well, but I figured if I put them into a collage they would make a nice presentation for Easter. God bless one and all at this most blessed holiday.
