A wild one in the refuse pile

We have a refuse pile in our park where the owners bring their garden refuse and throw it in a heap and last year we had a beautiful poppy garden. This is a close up of one of the wild poppies.

The soft edges to the petals is GORGEOUS!! The centre is in perfect focus with that little bit of pollen... FABulous, Marion!!

Another beautiful poppy photo ......... these are truly lovely, Marion.
Do they call wild poppies in the refuse pile volunteers, as the stray tomato plant might be called? :D
