One of my neighbours grew these beautiful soft salmon pink poppies, so I stopped in front of their house and took a couple of shots. I hope you are still enjoying these shots.
I am on holidays from August 17th until August 26th ....whee!! Although I will be home for the first few days, on the 21st we are heading to the States mainly to go to Tacoma Washington to attend the Gaither Gospel Homecoming Tour on Friday the 22nd. We are in for a real treat. We will also be tourists for a while and hopefully will come back with lots of good pictures. Anyhow, all of that to say I probably won't be visiting your wonderful sites for at least the 21st - 26th, but I promise I will catch up. I will prepost.
I am so still enjoying these! I love the slight glow of light under the petals on the left. Beautiful, Marion! We're actually at a balmy -3C this morning!! Woohoo, bring on the shorts and sunscreen!! LOL

I'm still enjoying them too! The center of this reminds me of a chenille spider! The color of the petals is fabulous and I like the dark veins at the base of the petals.
