I am on holidays from August 17th until August 26th ....whee!! Although I will be home for the first few days, on the 21st we are heading to the States mainly to go to Tacoma Washington to attend the Gaither Gospel Homecoming Tour on Friday the 22nd. We are in for a real treat. We will also be tourists for a while and hopefully will come back with lots of good pictures. Anyhow, all of that to say I probably won't be visiting your wonderful sites for at least the 21st - 26th, but I promise I will catch up. I will prepost.
The color is so pretty and the flowers so delicate. Lovely shot.

@Michael Skorulski: Thanks Michael. The flowers were so tiny that with the naked eye you couldn't make out the tiny red dots, yet with the camera they look like velvet.

Really beautiful!! I love shallow dof... and the framing is great! BTW, a bit late but welcome to Am3. Have had a quick boo at your portfolio.. some fabulous images there. Also, please tell me that it's just been a bad winter for you... we're moving out to Nanaimo in June (can't wait). So I guess I'm also saying that come that time if you want a buddy to go shooting with... ????

@amy: Thanks Amy. Thanks for welcoming me to Am3. I am enjoying it. IT HAS been a bad winter for Nanaimo. Have not seen the likes of it for a long time. We normally get one good beautiful dump of snow a winter, perhaps even two and then it is gone in a few days. This year, however, it has been not that nice. We are all complaining, but when you check out the weather in other parts of Canada, it's not so bad. Yes, keep in touch I would love to have a buddy to go shooting with. There are lots of amazing places on the Island.
